Home alone...
Nov. 11th, 2003 06:52 pmI'm sitting at home, waiting for the oven to preheat so I can put the cashew chicken on a bed of pineapples and rice into the oven to bake. I'm watching both girls alone because Omaha is in the emergency room.
She says she's fine. She also says she's experiencing unexplained chest pain that radiates to her back and is not alleviated by any physical action, consumption or motion. It's mild, and she insists that she's fine, that there's no panic, that she's in the waiting area for a doctor.
The girls don't understand what "unexplained chest pain" means. They're running about and laughing and giggling. I've called Yamaarashi-chan's mother to tell her that the day's schedule might be a little wonky. And I'm just... here. Wondering if there's anything I can do. Hoping she's okay.
