It's almost as entertaining as his admission that he offered his daughter $2000 if she made it to adulthood without becoming a smoker. Because apparently moral suasion and arguments to health, well-being, and the maintenance of one's own beauty weren't enough.
There are some people who are animated exclusively by money. I'm glad I'm not one of them.

Date: 2012-04-13 09:01 pm (UTC)Perhaps you don't know any teenagers who literally care nothing about any of those things, but they're in great abundance in America. Nevermind that those are long-term goals, and teenagers rarely think past next year or maybe the beginning of college, if they're *really* forward thinking.
