elfsAs is typical for some teenagers, three bright sparks in Nova Scotia decided to go for a joyride. Rather than steal a car they stole a boat. After tooling around for a while, they beached it and then realized they'd left their fingerprints all over the thing. So they decided to torch it to erase all evidence of their crime.
It was only after the boat was merrily ablaze that one of these bright sparks realized, "Hey, we're on an island."
They had to be rescued by helicopter.
