Glen Beck is so happy this morning...
Mar. 22nd, 2010 08:16 amIf anyone doubts that, as David Frum put it, yesterday's passage of health care reform "is a huge win for the conservative entertainment industry," all you have to do is listen to Glen Beck this morning.
He's ecstatic. He can't conceal how giddy he is. He and his co-host were irrepressibly giggly about this opportunity to whip the crowd up into a further frenzy. Between playing the state anthem of the old USSR, calling each other "comrade," and all the rest — nevermind that the bill as passed is so far to the right it would be unthinkable in any other nation on the Earth that also possess a working electrical grid and covered sewers — he can't stop bouncing off the walls.
You can hear it in his head: "At least another year of great ratings!"
