I suspect I'm finally coming down with whatever it is Omaha has had for the past couple of weeks. I feel very wrung out and have a sore throat. Goddammit, I had a date tomorrow. I've already had to postpone it once.

And, feeling sappy, Snohomish County is going to try and revive its Carnegie library. I think that's fabulous. I remember when I wandered into Ballard and spotted the old building, now something of a small office center, and feeling sad that such a great institution had fallen by the wayside. It's nice to see someone trying to preserve the old places.
