Mixed feelings...

I'm having mixed feelings about Lain right now. On the one hand, I'm finally making progress on getting the new kernel built and running. She comes up and the kernel and first hard drive are stable, but none of the peripherals work quite yet. We're getting there. I hope all of this is worth it; I'm tired of dealing with RedHat's obscure corners-- places where normal users never go, but when us power users get there they infuriate no end.

I'm also having mixed feelings about Republican Senate candidate Jack Ryan's case out of Chicago. On the one hand it is rather sad that his wife (now ex-wife) felt "pressured" to go to public sex clubs with him. On the other hand, his ex-wife is Jeri Ryan, the borg-babe of Star Trek Voyager... and I'd pay good money to see that happen.

Well, maybe not.
