One of the most interesting aspects of The Fountainhead so far is how Rand does a masterful job of showing how Keating's mind works-- and has absolutely no clue how Roark's does. Time and again, Keating is shown scheming, thinking, charisma'ing his way around his fellow apes, and Roark is... just Roark. He's the hero by fiat, and Rand is telling, not showing.
