elfsSo, tonight, the cat pees in my bed. She only managed to nail the comforter and not the mattress, but still, that's a nasty problem. I'm trying to be understanding. Dinah is over 11 years old and she has very bad arthritis in her hips, so sometimes getting downstairs to the litter box is asking a bit much of her, and Kouryou-chan has been a bit cruel this week. She's spent quite a bit of time sitting in a corner because of her inability to leave Dinah alone.
It's a good thing it was the day we change the sheets. I stripped off the bed and tossed everything into the laundry, then went downstairs. I discovered that the litter box was full and in terrible shape, so I cleaned it out so that at least Dinah wouldn't have that excuse if she tried to do something like that again.
When I came upstairs, I discovered that Kouryou-chan had decided to be "helpful." She had grabbed a wet washcloth and started wiping the mattress down over an old bloodstain on Omaha's side of the bed. So it took me another twenty minutes with a hairdryer just getting that dried before before I could put the sheets on.
Grr...
