elfsNothing quite gets the heart racing like finding a tarantula in your sink. This morning, as she was getting ready for a ride to summer camp, Stormy shouted "Daddy! Uh... Uh...."
"Use English, kid!"
"Uh..." I walked into the hallway where she was standing. She was pointing into the bathroom where Larry, her pet tarantula, was in the bowl of the sink. It was quite startling.
"How did he get there?" I said.
"I don't know! That explains why he hasn't been eating his crickets," Storm said. "But... how... I mean, I only left it open for a minute while I went to go get his food the last time."
"A minute is all it takes. Well, put him back in his bowl." Which she did. But geez.
"Use English, kid!"
