I can't claim this as an original idea. I've seen two other people do this, one on Instructables, the other on Boing Boing. Still, for twenty minutes with an old coathanger, some office-supply folder labels, and a pair magic markers, this isn't too bad. My one observation is that you should paint the egg at room temperature; this one was cold from the refrigerator, and I had to extensively repaint it as it kept collecting condensation, which made the ink runny and smear.
