About a decade ago, the Advocate surveyed its readership's sex habits and reported that 9% of all men in their survey enjoyed receptive anal sex to the exclusion of all other sexual activity; they would rather get fucked than engage in any other sexual activity.
I suspect this holds true for the general population: 1 in 11 women, and 1 in 11 straight men, would probably enjoy receptive anal sex over literally any other sexual activity, if their partner was into it and their society wasn't so condemnatory.
I'm sure there are a lot of things kinky people enjoy that more people would, that don't involve coercion or force on our partners, but it seems to be that our mainstream culture would rather keep the coercion and not enjoy the sex.
