I'm not so vain
I spotted this license plate at the local park'n'ride, where I catch the train into downtown. I have to admit to being a little jealous; I wish I'd gotten something like that. Still, I wonder what kind of person gets an "ELF" license plate? (What kind of person has a name of "Elf?")

What, no elfs? Then you could explain that it's the plural of "elf", unlike "elves":

Uh, maybe an elf? Some people do take that quite seriously. ^_^

I hope it's not the terrorist organization that uses the same acronym.

I'm afraid it is. The Everett Liberation Front was a dastardly organization back in the 60's.

Not just watch, the person with that license plate will be a devoted reader of yours. :D

Actually, I used to work for a company in Issaquah a number of years back that went by the name of ELF. By the time I was an employee there, the company had changed from whatever it was the letters had stood for, but they kept the acronym as the company name. I think I still have a polo shirt from the company around here somewhere...
