elfsNPR lost nerd points this morning. After Ken Jennings lost to the IBM supercomputer Watson in Jeopardy, he said, "I, for one, am ready to welcome our new computer overlords!"
NPR reported this quote. NPR always provides cultural context when they can. They're proud of their nerd cred. There's a ton of cultural context in that quote, and NPR didn't give it.
