  • 2:45pm: Leave to go get Kouryou-chan from school.
  • 3:30pm: Arrive at Kouryou-chan's school.

  • 4:00pm: Arrive at Storm's school. Immediately head to Dr.'s appointment.
  • 4:20pm: Arrive in time for Dr.'s appointment. Fortunately, Dr's office is right near the dance school. She can walk.
  • 6:05pm: Pick up Storm from Dance class. Hurtle back down to her school for her choir's Christmas Performance.

Ugh, my week so far has been like this:

7AM: alarm goes off, I hit snooze.
7:05: turn off alarm, groan at the fact that I definitely need at least another half hour of sleep, tell blackberry to wake me up then.
~8:30: realize that I'm already late for work, get out of bed.
9:10: get to work. Eat breakfast there.
9:10-12:00: Constant interruption from work project that theoretically has class 1 priority over everything (deadline Saturday at all cost), but keeps getting pushed to class 2 priority by stupid customer whims.
12:00-12:30: Theoretically my lunch break, except that I work while eating.
12:00-3:00: Somewhat less constant interruption.
4:30: Finally finish today's to-do item. Except on Monday, which got completed at 5.
4:30-4:45: Create LJ entry for what I did today in case I need a reference later. Except on Monday...
4:45: Manually start backup of our Most Critical Database to ensure that some silly automatic process is *not* messing it up. Don't ask.
5:00: Leave work.
5:10: Get home, get mobbed by 4 year old.
5:30: Wife goes to work out at the gym. She'll be back around 7:30 or 8, which means lots of work and angst over trying to cook (and not burn dinner) while the baby shrieks at me and the big boy tries to get my attention, but I don't care because of the tremendous benefits.
5:30-7:30: General chaos. Kids get fed one way or another. Often one at a time.
7:30: Wife gets home, has dinner.
8:00: Blackberry loudly announces that it's time for a certain big boy to get ready for bed. Sometimes the baby nurses and falls asleep around this time.
8:30 or so: Big boy gets under the covers, I read a book to him then play Brickbreaker until he falls asleep.
9:00-11:00: Baby may or may not be awake during this time. If we're lucky, we get lucky.
11:00-1:00: tool around and/or fix that laptop I've been meaning to fix.
