Spotted behind the counter at a local fast food restaurant:
Contest for whoever sales the most 20oz shakes/Fruiteas will get a $25 giftcard!!!
From 9:15 to 9:26
"Fruiteas" is a brand name; everything else is absolutely [sic] as written.

I don't know what's more disappointing: the tragic grammar, or the fact that everyone has only 11 minutes to make sales.

Hmm

Sure those weren't dates? It is, after all, between 9/15 and 9/26 right now. If the guy can't tell the difference between "sells" and "sales", it wouldn't be too surprising if he can't tell the difference between ":" and "/".

Does this place really sell enough shakes in an eleven-minute period to allow useful statistical analysis? Eleven days would probably be a significant period, though.

I'm fairly certain they are dates. Which is why I included them in the [sic]; the writer chose to use colons instead of some other traditional separator.

I don't see why the salespeople would bother. I mean, Fruiteas is gonna get the $25 gift card no matter who wins the contest.
