I wrote a pure HTML site this weekend. After a little tweaking, it's almost ready to go. It is pure HTML/CSS/Javascript, with some images and audio files for media. No database, no appserver, none of that. Just a practice toy.

I know I had too geeked out when I created a remote repository for it and a fabfile.

What is a good way to learn how to do CSS? I know static HTML and some Javascript. But it's been 8 years since I cared about my webpage and much has changed.

I guess the answer is, it depends on what kind of learner and developer you are. My usual preference is to pick a project and try to write it; I assume I'll pick up what I need to know along the way. Often I'll see a website I like and just take it apart.
