and also it reminds me of bitter disappointment I faced once. I was traveling in Utah, and found a place that advertised 'Listen to Rush every day from 10 to 2!'. I went in, and it was Rush Limbaugh. Bleah.

Yay!!! I took L to the Snakes & Arrows tour. His first Rush concert, I think. No joy this time -- but for a happy reason; we're now inside two-digit hours of closing on our house!

Oo. On a scale of 1 to awesome, how awesome was it? Definitely thinking of hitting this tour when they get to Pittsburgh. Did they do Moving Pictures all in one go, or individual songs throughout the night?

They were awesome+! It's amazing that they still have the juice after all these years...you can see it in their eyes and in their movements. That childlike love of music and ideas.

And they did do Moving Pictures all in one go, which was absolutely the best for me, because my personal favorite song (Witch Hunt) and favorite instrumental (YYZ) is on that album.
