I recently re-read quite a number of Journal Entries, and the two things that I recall from that experience are these:

#1: There are a lot of typos. Some stories aren't even spell-checked adequately.

#2: There are a lot of places where I deliberately left myself openings for new stories, and then completely dropped the plot.

Worse yet, in my re-read, I forgot to either note the typos, are note the plotlines. I'm going to have to re-read them again.

Elf, don't be so hard on yourself about the entire corpus of the Journal Entries. You Have. So. Many. of them, that it's difficult to proofread.

{Gawd, I'm still finding errors in my PhD dissertation, and not minor ones, either.}

If only there were a mechanism for reader submitted error correction. :)

Way back before I friended you on LJ, I offered my services to reread the Entries and proof them as I went.

I reiterate said offer. I don't have massive amounts of time, but I should be able to get through at least a few a night.

If you'd like, I mean.

wait, you don't do that regularly?

Sweety, I do that 2-4 times a year!

A good read is worth a re read, even with typos.

Clean up the journal entries if you want to, and please add more. Don't feel bad that you were not perfect when you started out.

Speaking as a reader, I'd rather you focused on the openings for new stories than the typos.

The typos maybe there in print, but your characters still know the correct words to say.

*hugs*
don't be so hard on yourself.

The errors do not detract from the experience. Even when read through speech synthesis.
