How is the correction you stated in any way germane to the quote Elf included at the top of the page? The only item I can possibly see is that the Chaplain should have been addressed as Major (ret.), all the rest still holds.

More to the point, how does one qualify as "a whackjob to the mainstream of his religion" and the other as "a representative of the mainstream of his religion"? As I pointed out, there are thousands of Muslims in the US military. Only one has committed this heinous crime.
