The transformer outside our neighborhood blew up this morning. Puget Sound Energy is telling us six to eight hours, at least, to deal with it.

Internet access will be highly sporadic and nomadic as Omaha and I wander around libraries and cafes, looking for WiFi and power. Don't expect quick responses.

We lost power overnight too, but not for very long - for the second time in a month. I hope this isn't a precursor to a particularly rocky storm season.

WOW! If Optimus Prime exploded in my neighborhood the entire area would be a crater. How long it took to get electricity back would not be my first concern :)
