You may not buy Henry Weinhard's "Belgian Style Wheat" anymore. Remember your post recently about how alcohol doesn't do much for ya? This particular beer is so drinkable it may make you reconsider.

On the other hand, we are disappointed to report that Rachel Maddow's favorite cocktail, the Jack Rose, still doesn't do much. Too alcohol-y.

Yeah, beware of wheat (or 'white') beers. They are damn nice for people for whom beer would be better without that nasty ethanol taste.

I've been going down the slippery slope of Gourmet Magazine online's cocktail of the week. The Moscow Mule is damn fine, and I have some St. Germain waiting until I get some white wine.
Blue Moon's white beer is awfully nice too.
