I just figured out what Speedbar is for. This is about the same level of stupidity as using Photoshop for years before figuring out what layers are for.

Live and learn, I guess.

As a longtime Emacs user, I like cedet. I don't use it nearly as often as I'd wish (I've had buggy versions that will lock up or otherwise crash Emacs). But I keep trying.
