I haven't been sleeping well recently. I'm not sure why not, although the stress of being out of work might just have much to do with it. I've already contacted several recruiters and sent resume's to several different companies, so I qualify, I guess, for unemployment insurance for this week.

I'm right now downloading and installing the Cucumber development guide. Reading between the lines, I don't see that Cucumber is noticeably better than Unit::Test, it just seems to be wordier. If this is an attempt to stretch across the Yawning Crevasse of Doom, that's nice, but it doesn't help me since everything I'm doing is on one side of the crevasse. Still, I'll give it a shot.

And, can I ask, what is the big deal with Neko Case? I've tried listening to her, and I just don't get what the big deal is. If it's the voice thing, well, I think I'm more of a Kate Bush fan.

Have you listened to Neko's work with The New Pornographers? I think it is a voice thing, but I find it comes across more strongly in her rock than country. Your tastes may vary, of course. =)
