I saw this headline go by this morning on CNBC: AIG to post 60 Billion dollar loss. (Unfortunately, it was a scroll on CNBC's video feed, and there doesn't seem to be a corresponding article confirming it.) My first reaction was "Yeah, Answers in Genesis is goin' down, baby!"

Wrong AIG. Ah, well.

*pats your hand* It's ok, really it is. All of us have these moments from time to time.

There's a church (I think they're some flavor of Baptist) that I pass by on one of my routes home from work. They have one of those sermon boards that they change every few weeks. It isn't very wide, so they can only get a few words on one line. A couple of months back the first line was "LOVE BEARS," *with* the comma....

"A sleeping bag that looks like a bear (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/boingboing/iBag/~3/543529380/giant-bear-fursuitsl.html) might seem like a good idea, unless a bear tries to mate with you. Or as furries would call it, "dying and going to heaven. (http://forums.fark.com/cgi/fark/comments.pl?IDLink=4227172)"

AIG *had* 60 billion dollars to lose?

It's funny. People were bitching about big banks' billion dollar profits a couple years ago.

An aside: The way things have been going, Answers in Genesis might have to change their name to Answers in Revelations. ;)
