Attention, world: I tweet.

I don't know if I'll actually be using this service too much. It's just an experiment. There are so many services out there I've hooked into and then abandoned. Much to my amusement, I discovered I still had an account on tribe.net, among others.

Anyway, it's up and it's entertaining. I've installed twitux and twit.el so I can follow from my desktop and tweet from my favorite editor.

I've discovered I do it a lot more than actual blogging, perhaps because I only have bits to say at a time.

I find that the restricted format tweaks my creativity. Kind of like the way playing Tetris warped my mind for a while in the 80s, the world starts looking like a Twitter opportunity and I find myself contorting ideas into 140-character chunks.

Hey, Elf! I think you'll find Twitter to be different than most "fad" services - there's something special about forcing people to condense a thought down to 140 characters.
