Both sides certainly have their nutters, but I'm skeptical of the claim of equivalence. There would absolutely be wailing and gnashing of teeth at a place like DailyKos if Obama had lost, but I'm not at all convinced that it would be either as extreme or as widespread as the wingnuts can be. Anecdotal evidence on both sides of course, yadda yadda...
