I voted!
I don't care that it's a purely administrative position, I still say it's really weird seeing my wife's name on the ballot. And yes, I did vote for her.

I will admit to skipping most of the judicial elections entirely; I didn't know enough about either candidate to decide which one I'd rather not see.

I hope she wins!

And I envy those stickers with a great burning envy. We don't have them here any more. I wish to the Great Above that we did.

Up here, if you want a local polling place to have these stickers, you (as a private, non-partisan citizen) have to buy them yourself (http://victorystore00.stores.yahoo.net/roof1ivost.html) and drop them off at the polling office first thing in the morning the day of the election.

Where I live, the county has gone fully to mail-in ballots, which was kind of sad for me and implies a level of trust in the process that seems bizarre. Among other things, what's to stop a person from checking the ballots of their family members, employees, etc. for "correctness"?

But I still vote, proudly. More proudly than usual this time, because Daniel got to vote here for the first time - he became a citizen a couple of months ago.

Anyhow, good luck to Omaha and I hope she won!
