On the way to dropping Yamaraashi-chan off at camp this morning, I was alternating between NPR, Glenn Beck, and Stephanie Miller (and if that doesn't hurt, nothing will!) and Stephanie was making fun of Tom Cruise and the announcement that he will be appearing in Top Gun II. She wanted to know why so many people made fun of Tom Cruise.

I mentioned his over-the-topness about Katie Holmes, the gay rumors, and especially his membership in a strange and popular cult. "What's so strange about it?"
