I don't recall where I got this from, but I loved it the first time I saw it. If you're a Koyaanisqatsi fan (we know who we are!), this (very short) video is for you. The Day With No News:

I am a BIG HUGE FEROCIOUS Koyaanisqatsi fan, but I can't play Flash! Maybe I can convince someone at work to show it to me.

Someone at work just played it for me with Flash on their computer. Very nice! Reminds me more of Laurie Anderson than Koyaanisqatsi, though. In one of her shows I went to, she stayed quiet for a couple of minutes, just looking at the audience. And then she remarked "if this had been TV, people at the station would be panicing by now" -- meaning it would be considered "dead air" and thus Bad. when really, why is it bad to be quiet for a while?

Thanks for sharing!!

Too great!

They look so sad and purposeless.

As I understand it, these are the three or four minutes before they go on the air, when they have nothing to do but wait. Someone snagged these off the live satellite feeds and strung them together into this, with some music and their own ticker. I liked it because you kinda wish there were days like this.
