Overflow crowd at Barack Obama rally.

Well, Obama is holding a rally even as I write this over at Key Arena in Seattle. The arena seats 16,641 17,500 (in the current configuration), and this photo is of small portion of the two thousand or so still standing outside the doors, turned away because the arena was full. I was one of them. Sad. It would have been fun. I even brought my camera.

I will say this: Obama's supporters are way cuter than Hillary's.

Doors opened at 11. Closed by 11:15 when we were nearly there. The kids survived three hours of cold to humour Mom. I'm not sure if they got from it what I hoped, but I think Stone got SOMETHING out of it.

Wish to heck I'd known they had it televised in the center house. *sigh*

It was streaming live on the Internet too. I watched it in my nice, warm, comfy office.

I would still have rather stood in the cold for three hours on the off-chance that I could have gotten in. :(

But I had work projects that were due *today*. Sigh.

I'm a Hillary supporter, but if Obama wins the nomination I will be supporting him wholeheartedly. If Hillary weren't running he would definitely be my guy. I like him. A lot. We just had our caucus Tuesday night and it was exciting to see so many people interested and involved in the process. We had 640 people in our little area, compared to about 80 last time. Love it that people are excited.
