Blame [livejournal.com profile] vodou_chile for this one. Create a faux "first album." The rules are simple.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.
http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.

The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
He said he had to do two. I had so much fun I had to do five.

Of all five, I think "British Civil Light Transport" is the best. Obviously, I cheated just a bit, taking a longer quote than was offered, but otherwise I followed the rules.

I think 'Encircled By The Living' is an even better album title. It has that right 'weird' vibe. ;-)

Dude. That one is AWESOME. I can HEAR MUSIC OFF IT. They're kind of a high-angst Blur, but with extra fuzz and neo-marxist hip-hop stylings. Also, I hear tracks off of U.S.S. Pulaski, who are a Cranberries wanna-be, which is on its own pretty sad, but they have a much more outwardly directed focus for their self-hatred, which, quite frankly, helps. Sure, they hate themselves, but really? It's your fault.

I think you've nailed both of them. I can totally hear BCLT, but I give them more of a post-MP3 no-loud mix, a seventies mixer-board feel.

I really enjoyed doing this meme. I must say I got very lucky with my random links.

I almost wish there was such a band called Yamato-Yagi Station. I'd probably listen to it, and it'd probably go in the same playlists as Tatu.

That is an awesome cover. Underage faux-lesbian Asian chicks kissing on stage while the latest revival, a kind of techno blended with surf, plays overhead. I'm totally there.

Yamato-Yagi Station: a side band from the producers of the Ali Project!

I found this to be entirely too fun, and thus I restricted myself to only doing one for each place I encountered the meme. This time I got:

I agree. And further, that cover combined with that title brings to mind this music video for me: http://www.zombieduck.tv/images/Fashion_Freak_12MB.wmv (http://www.zombieduck.tv/images/Fashion_Freak_12MB.wmv) Naked Ape - Fashion Freak
