Hidden Messages

On a Dvorak keyboard, if your right hand is one set of keys to the right of where they're supposed to be and you try to type the word "wish," you get "mind."

I wonder how many other valid "one hand off" messages there are hidden in a keyboard layout.

Let's see now: for keyboard of choice create a filter that translates printable characters to the displacement of your choice, then pipe /usr/share/dict/words through that filter, grepping the output against that same file, and writing the hits to a file.

The one that I always caught myself typing by accident on a QWERTY keyboard was 'geko'--can you figure out what I was going for and why I didn't get it?

Also, since I think this is the first time that I've posted here, Hi! gipsieee introduced me to your writing and often sends me links or reads me bits of your entries here, and I'd like to follow along and add the occasional comment ^_^
