When I was very young, my father had a Muzak salesgeek come through his practice and try and sell him on buying a subscription. He left a sampler of the work, an LP with work by The Muzak Orchestra.

I used to enjoy listening to that thing at 45 and 78 RPM.

It's so sad that to get that effect today, you have run the music through filters and use commands like -refreq 1.36363 or -refreq 2.36363. Kids today will not appreciate the fun!
