Okay, I'm going to call you on this one, love. There is absolutely nothing wrong with those women wearing those clothes...in fact, the origin of clothes like these belongs in the time where wearing them was the way to avoid death from heat or sandstorms.

Obviously the latter is far less of an issue (although the former still is at times) in this day and age. But there are still women who wear clothes like these not because they are forced to, but because they want to follow a cultural meme, because it is the way that they believe is the way to dress. There are a lot of them in this country that dress this way, for no other reason.

Please don't just jump to a conclusion.

I have to disagree slightly with Omaha... these women live in a country where their clothing is a choice enforced by (Islamic) law - religious police and any (male) passerby on the street may harass a woman for showing as much as her wrist.

I agree that in their country their clothing is required by Islamic law. However, that still does not mean that for these women it is not also a choice...in other words, given the choice, that they would not still decide to wear said clothing. And I use as my evidence that there are women in this country that wear said clothing fully through choice.
