Sleep deprivation works its antimagic
Oct. 6th, 2007 02:21 pmI haven't been very energetic this week. I keep being awakened in the middle of the night: a back spasm, Kouryou-chan's cold, the cat meowling. It's all been very ordinary stuff, but it's just been happening so much that my sleep is fitful and shallow. It's sad because I'd love to write something but the mojo is temporarily off-line.
We did discover a food that Dinah likes: little medallions of raw ground chicken and rabbit that the local pet food store sells in their freezer section. She's been eating more, but also seems to be suffering from mild incontinence. Sigh The joys of hospicing a senior feline.
fallenpegasus came over for a while yesterday and we hacked together on a library of utilities in C for parsing and manipulating the OAuth authentication block: he for libcurl, me for apache. We called it after about four hours when my brain got tired. My next step will be to build a test harness and corresponding library for assembling and manufacturing resource access signatures. Unfortuantely, that's mostly just a lot of code without a lot of promise, and it's been four years since I last looked at the Apache Portable Runtime's library of functions to help do all that really boring string manipulation.
My brain feels like concrete. Bleah.
