Two nifty pics from the camping trick
Sep. 1st, 2007 10:58 amTwo other pictures I took Friday:
While Omaha and I were making chicken pouches (one chicken breast, a half-can of mushroom soup, a quarter cup of milk, a cup of frozen veggies, and a sliced potato, wrapped in tinfoil and thrown into the fire) our neighbors fired up their tiki torches. Omaha reported that around 2am they started drumming, keeping her awake. We're not sure what they're up to.
I'm told that this camera has a lot of noise at high ISOs, and this picture confirms it. That said, this is a pretty impressive photo for such a little camera, with a sixty-second exposure using a camping chair and a gorillapod for stability. I really wish I had better manual control, but I'm not out to buy a Rebel quite yet.
