When the Singularity comes, I hope you're forced to inhabit the scape and icons you've created. A place where limited, desperate attempts to render fur end up making Tigger look like he's breaking out in hives, where there isn't a single color that doesn't burn and claw at the eyeballs, where water is rendered as either an assaultive avalanche of marbles or a solid blue strip that looks as hard as glass, and where your own icon has the scope, range of motion and emotional expressiveness of a Roomba with a broken left wheel. A place as far from earthtone and pastel watercolor trees, bucolic skies, restful lazy days and authentic, humane childhoods as is possible.
