Okay, now that I've actually read the article, the author's pissed me off.

1) Tool does not have three songs between themselves and Korn. I know that he's exaggerating, but that's a completely undeserving slag against Tool. Unless he's never listend to anything before 10,000 days, in which case it's completely deserved. I blame Heroin.

2) I get the distinct impression that this guy's the sort of pretentious prick that (publicly) only listens to underground acts that aren't cool yet "because The Man is keeping them down" (read: they suck), and bemoans the fact that good music never makes it big because the music industry doesn't work that way. He probably has a secret cache of Alanis Morrisette CDs under the floorboards of his living room.
