Aarrgh! Too many languages!

This morning, I found myself using the Perl "array" operator for arrays in a program I was writing in Python. What's worse is that I caught it not because I recognized it for what it was, but because what I thought I saw on the screen was myself using the Ruby "this" operator outside of a class context!

You've never seen one of my SFD's (Sh*tty first drafts), have you?

Not only do I have to spell-check my documents three times, but I do so with a pen and paper nearby so I can write down the line numbers of the ones I mis-hit, then go back and replace the correctly-spelled but contextually invalid ones I leave behind.
