Yes, age is a state of mind, but alas it is also a state of body. I keep telling my arthritic toe to stop hurting that it is only 18, but it refuses to believe me. You don't even want to get me started on the conversations my back and I have.
That said, you are a tad luckier, in that society is much more forgiving of a man aging than a woman, but I shan't complain... I look more like I'm in my early-mid thirties. Lol.
My father had a shirt for his 40th birthday that read: "hex28 still great". However, he turned 64 this month, so I told him he's doomed to be over 40 in any common use base :). He said that his only worry is that he's 0100 0000 in binary...
