Date: 2006-04-04 09:01 am (UTC)Without ever knowing of the existence of this anime until now, last August I created a role-playing character who was accidentally injured by some aliens who thought his Y chromosome was a damaged X, and "fixed" it during some of the other repairs they made to his body.
I wonder how many other of my "original" ideas have already been popularized, just in a language I don't know... for example, the superhero character mentioned above is currently limbless (with several sets of detachable cybernetic limbs), but has met a shapeshifter and proposed that they merge to complement each other's abilities, the shapeshifter acting as a set of limbs. Sound familiar to anyone? :)
