Cool and Questionable: Hacking My Phone.

elfsMore things now work on my laptop! I can now download from the camera, upload to my Archos jukebox, sync with the palm over the IR-N (Network), play video games with the joystick. I've updated to the lates IR-RC (Remote Control) drivers, but I haven't had the courage to test them out.
But, most cool of all: I hacked into my phone. My Cingular Motorola phone, the one they don't want me hacking into because they'd rather sell me ringtones. Well, I successfully uploaded a new ringtone this afternoon, sents SMS messages, and downloaded my phone's phone book to my laptop.
I've gotta be careful because there's only about 1.2MB of free space on there and MP3s are pretty big (even at 22500 32-bit mono), but it's fun to have the room for four or five of my own audio tracks. Without paying extra for music I already own.

More teevee shows should use ringtones on the characters' phones for information and humor value.
