Remember that case of the judge in Indiana who told two divorcing parents that neither one could teach the child his or her religion, even though they were both of the same beliefs, because both were Wiccan?

A judge who ordered two Wicca believers to shield their son from their "non-mainstream" faith overstepped his authority, an appeals court said Wednesday in dismissing the order.

The Indiana Court of Appeals said state law gave a custodial parent the authority to determine a child's upbringing, including religious training.

Oh, Happy Day.

Actually your statement is just fine. Under Wicca there is "God" (as well as Goddess, other Gods, etc.).

I would love to see what the appeals court judges and their clerks said to the original judge and his clerk in the informal private backchannels of the Robed Community. Probably a bit of "what the HELL were you thinking!?"
