elfsWent to see Wreck-It Ralph this weekend with Kouryou-chan and Omaha. It's a Pixar-perfect film. Ignore the Disney imprimatur and look at the credits: John Lasseter produced it, and he's the brilliant conscience behind Pixar, and it shows in every frame of this movie.
As a writer, I am deeply envious of whoever invented the name "Vanellope." She a character from a racing game for girls; whoever combined "Vanilla," "Velocity," and "Princess" [yes, that's a spoiler] in one elegant name deserves a freakin' medal.
There's a Pixar short at the beginning that's just as sweet and surprisingly adult (no, not that way, mind out of the gutter you troll!) called "Paperman."
