elfsOmaha and I spent the early part of Sunday housecleaning. After a breakfast of crepes-- pretty good considering I'd never made them before-- we vacuumed the floors, straightenend up the children's spaces, even got Kouryou-chan to clean up her own books, and cleaned off all the kitchen counters and the stove.
Then it was off to the office. Yes, I had to work on a Sunday. Suck. Well, at least they bought us pizza (Zeke's!) and I managed to get three of the four bugs waiting for me off my plate. I'm particularly nervous about the set of changes we've made-- they're performance improvements of the first order (parallelizing formerly serial queries of a large cluster, and exploiting knowledge developed in the first query to avoid follow-on queries and timeouts of inaccessible devices) that fix formerly quite naive implementations, but they're big changes this close to release. I hope any problems shake out quickly.
I got home, Omaha and Kouryou-chan and I did our monthly Costco run, then hurried home to leave Kouryou-chan with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tygereclipse so we could shower and go to the Wetspot bondage party. I like those parties; they're not as frantic or noisy as the S&M parties, but on the other hand you can't really do a lot of S&M in the space. Oh, well. Omaha was a good sport as I practiced doing harness work on her with heavy rope, and then we went into the back, where I tied her down to the suspension bed and had my way with her. She didn't believe that I could be a good little sadist, but I've been practicing. Bwahahaha... Ahem.
