I'm not sure what's wrong with me today. I went to bed last night at 9:30, and yet this morning could not drag my ass out of bed for love, money, or nuclear weapons until 6:30, half an hour after the usual time. I showered and walked out the door completely forgetting the collection of clothes and, ahem, implements for the party I'm going to tonight. I'm sitting here with my second cup of coffee in me and I just cannot get the groove going. Usually by now I'm head deep into the code and figuring out what's wrong with it, refining the raw ore of my code into diamond clarity. Instead, I'm just blah. I've been eating too much, and not sleeping enough, and... *Sigh*.

Note to self: yes, one rice cake has only 35 calories. Seven of them has 245. Got that?

At least I'm not subject to cruel science experiments.

For an interesting alternative view, USAToday said that 30% couldn't be without it, rather than 48%. Their article was also more whimsical than terrifying.

PS: The Journal Entries are peerless, both sensually and creatively. 1.3 million words, goddamn!

The interesting thing is that the Internet study was funded by Yahoo (heard on the radio, didn't RTFA).... kinda like Microsoft funding a browser study...
