Mildly depressed...

elfsNot sure why. Part of it is certainly the lack of sleep recently. Kouryou-chan appears to have some kind of whooping cough, mild and not threatening at her current age, but still, it kept the parents up last night, and I still mananged to crawl into work on time.
We're also coming down to the wire in our current collection of projects. Only a week to go before we go "beta" and things are looking good. I currently have nothing in my bug bag that would constitute a ship stoppage or would prevent testing from completing their tests, so I should feel good about that, but I don't. There's a zillion little niggling bugs that I want to work out, and I'm not sure about priorities or direction or whatever. There's so much to do.
And it's funny. I want to talk about so many things. I took Kouryou-chan out blackberry picking in the abandoned lot at the southeast corner of our subdivision, away from where the poison ivy was, and she had a lot of fun, but I can't really work up the energy to edit the photos I took and put them up.
Or Wednesday, when I took Yamaarashi-chan out to dinner and then an indoor park, where we crawled around in plastic tubes and up padding ramps, and I took lots of photos then, too.
Or yesterday, when we discovered that the YMCA across the street from forementioned abandoned lot has a small swimming pool, and Omaha and I took Kouryou-chan there, and she had a blast mastering the art of jumping in. Y'all know I could write for hours on the subject.
And a bad habit has returned. I'm up to two packs a day. Fortunately, gum's still only a quarter a pack. Better that than another bout of blue teeth.
