The illness continues...

Just as the final dregs of the obstructive pulmonary injury caused by pertussis have started to heal, my headcold has chosen to move into my chest. Five weeks of dry, intermitten cough have been relentlessly replaced by constant, hacking cough. It's enough to make a grown Elf cry.

I had hoped to do many things this weekend. There was supposed to be a hiking trip with the bronies this afternoon; I had gardening and winterizing things to do, and I was supposed to go out clubbing this evening. Instead, I'm lying in bed at home with my laptop in my lap, bloving my nose every five minutes.

Bleah.

I'd better be good enough to go out tomorrow. I promised Storm I'd chaperone a fundraiser for her choir's annual fieldtrip. It will suck if I'm not over this by then.

I think I'm going to have some tea.
