Everything old is new again...
Jun. 11th, 2010 11:59 amSo, this morning, I'm putting together a rough draft of a project for the boss, and I realize as I'm doing so that I'm basically writing a tumblelog. So, rather than re-invent the wheel (or at least to have a reference wheel), I go looking for other implementations of a tumblelog.
I stumble upon Myles Braithwaite's implementation, figure it's a good start, and start taking it apart.
And I realize it's exactly like the "newsvine" program I wrote for the startup I was hanging out with last year. I'm just re-implementing the wheel, again.
Well, at least this time I have reference source.
