I asked for and received a PTO from work today because I had a crown installation at 10:30. There was no way I was going to get much done before the installation, nor was I going to be functional for two hours after the installation.
I was wrong about that. Less than an hour later, I'm doing okay. Not nearly as much stress as last time. I'm on soft foods for the next few hours, so I made myself a salad: crisp organic lettuce, a tomato from the garden, and for the dressing: lemon juice, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, a barely soft-boiled egg, smashed garlic (screw that "rub the bowl" business; only do that if you plan on eating the bowl), anchovy paste and Parmesean cheese. Yummy!
There is something profoundly virile about a properly made Caesar salad.
